Silver moon caress

Silent shivers on sleeping lake

My hand on your skin

Raindrop on nose tip

Teeters to jump past wet lips

Eyelashes cheer, wave

Humming bird yearns more

Petals open slow and shy

Leaves rustle gossip

Sleepy hand searches

Crumpled side of empty bed

Last nights memories

Steam frosts windows hide

As my will melts in your heat

Car radio croons

Waves try, try again

Sand beach yields some, some more

My words and your love

Indigo deep night

Fireflies guide me back from dark

The twinkle in your eyes

A brush of your hands

Means a thousand silent words

Haiku in fingers

Clouds flock on sky fields

Thoughts of you through plane window

Grazing on dream grass

Life book, leaves flutter

The story moves on daily

Love binds, holds the spine

Mohan, I have to say I never really "got" haiku art. You've shown me the way. Each tells a whole story with a meaningful message. Brilliant are you...breathtaking shivery love.

Doc, you are a master of romance too are you? Beautiful Haikus! Have a wonderful day! God bless!

@Amy, Haiku is yet but another expression of feelings, perceptions and observations much like your own work. These may not strictly adhere to the classic haiku format - but I like the freedom of the format where you try to say much with so little. 5-7-5 syllables ( although the original Japanese versions have 5-7-5 'on' that roughly but not strictly equate to English syllables). Thanks for your lovely words.

@sofs, 'Master of Romance' sounds like a great degree to have! I am, but a humble wordsmith with no such aspirations but I like the way it sounds. Thank you so much.
